For the past 2-3 months, ye Takethe5th editor had hoped to apply a new theme to Takethe5th which would allow for more of a magazine style story format. Unfortunately, the way browsers display the theme is quite mixed as a recent tour of different browsers and screen sizings revealed. Sometimes the stories were 2 columns and others 3 columns. The positioning of the stories was different with each layout or addition of new posts … in short, despite some clear conveniences – too much of the new theme and layout was like automated trading on Wall Street, out of control.
So ye Takethe5th editor has thrown in the towel and like Rahm returned to the old Bootleg Chicago styling. Apologies for being remiss on testing the change-over.
